2. These terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to:

  • your use of our website; and
  • any quotation, booking, order, or services we provide (including, where applicable, supply and installation of equipment).

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our site or place an order.

3. Services and quotations

  • Quotes are provided based on the information you give us. If the scope changes (site conditions, access, cabling routes, existing infrastructure, product choice), we may need to revise the quote.
  • A booking is only confirmed when we send written confirmation (email or invoice acceptance).
  • Where we recommend equipment or specifications, final suitability can depend on a site survey.

4. Pricing, deposits and payment

  • Prices are shown in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise.
  • We may request a deposit to secure a booking or order equipment. The deposit amount will be stated on your quote/invoice.
  • Payment terms are shown on the invoice. Late payments may delay the booking, delivery, or completion.
  • If third-party suppliers increase prices or discontinue items after you approve a quote, we will offer alternatives or revise the price with your agreement.

5. Customer responsibilities (access, readiness and safety)

To complete work safely and on time, you agree to:

  • provide safe access to the property and working area;
  • ensure someone over 18 is present (unless agreed otherwise);
  • confirm you have permission from the property owner/freeholder where required;
  • ensure mains power is available (or tell us in advance if it is not);
  • keep pets and children away from the work area; and
  • tell us in advance about hazards (asbestos, unsafe wiring, fragile walls, restricted parking, building rules).

If access is not available or the site is not ready, we may charge a reasonable call-out / aborted visit fee to cover time and travel, which we will explain before applying.

6. Appointment changes, cancellations and rescheduling

  • If you need to reschedule, please give as much notice as possible.
  • We may charge a reasonable fee if you cancel or rearrange at short notice, especially where we have reserved engineer time or ordered products specifically for you. Any fees will reflect our actual costs.

7. Consumer cancellation rights (where you buy as a consumer)

If you are a consumer (not buying mainly for business), you may have a legal right to cancel certain distance/off-premises contracts within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
legislation.gov.uk

  • If you ask us to start services within the 14-day period, you agree that you may need to pay for work already completed up to the point you cancel.
  • If services are fully completed within the 14 days with your agreement, your right to cancel may end.
  • Some items may be excluded from cancellation (for example, bespoke/custom-made goods or sealed goods once unsealed), where the law applies.

If you want to cancel, contact us using the details in section 1.

8. Products, delivery and ownership (where applicable)

  • Any product lead times are estimates unless we confirm a fixed date.
  • Ownership of goods transfers to you once we have received payment in full, unless agreed otherwise.

9. Installation standards and minor making-good

  • We will carry out work with reasonable care and skill.
  • Unless stated in writing, we do not include full redecoration/plastering/painting. We may do basic “making-good” where appropriate, but larger remedial works may require a specialist.

10. Warranties and defects

  • Manufacturer warranties may apply to equipment supplied. We will pass on relevant warranty information where available.
  • If there is a problem caused by our workmanship, tell us as soon as possible and we will arrange a remedy within a reasonable time.
  • We are not responsible for faults caused by:
    • third-party equipment or cabling we did not supply/install;
    • pre-existing issues (poor wiring, network limitations, building materials);
    • misuse, accidental damage, or unauthorised alterations.

11. Limitation of liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.
  • Subject to 11.1, we are not liable for:
    • business losses (loss of profit, revenue, contracts, data, goodwill) if you are a business customer; or
    • indirect or consequential losses.
  • Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant services/products, except where the law says otherwise.
